As a Swim Instructor at High Tides, you will lead swimming programs and provide customized individual and group lessons for children of different ages and skill levels. This position is perfect for students with a strong love for swimming, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to motivate young swimmers and foster a love and respect for water. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and self-driven Swim Instructor to join our team in Hutchinson, MN.

Responsibilities
• Deliver swim instruction to students of varying ages and skill levels
• Ensure a safe and positive learning environment for all students
• Evaluate and monitor student progress, offering feedback and support as necessary

Requirements
• Previous experience working with students of all ages and abilities, ideally in an educational or instructional environment
• Proficient swimming abilities and knowledge of different strokes and techniques
• Thorough understanding of water safety and survival techniques
• CPR & First Aid Certification (infant, child & adult)
• Excellent communication, organization, time management, and creative teaching skills
• Effective behavior management skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally
• Background in childcare or sports coaching is advantageous, demonstrating experience in working with children in a structured setting
• Passion for swimming and working with children.
