At Granite City Aquatics, we are seeking a dedicated and motivated Swim Instructor to lead our swimming programs and provide personalized lessons to children of different age groups and skill levels. This position is perfect for students who are passionate about swimming, possess strong communication skills, and have the ability to inspire young swimmers to develop a love for the water. Responsibilities
• Provide swim instruction to students of all ages and skill levels
• Ensure a safe and positive learning environment for all students
• Monitor and assess student progress, offering feedback and guidance as necessary

Requirements
• Experience working with students of all ages and abilities, especially in an educational or instructional setting
• Strong swimming skills and knowledge of various swim strokes and techniques
• Strong background in water safety and survival skills
• CPR & First Aid Certified (infant, child & adult)
• Excellent communication, organizational, time management and creative teaching skills
• Strong behavior management skills, with the ability to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally
• Experience in childcare or sports coaching is beneficial, demonstrating an understanding of structured environments for children
• A passion for swimming and working with children
