Personal Statement

I'm from Argentina and I started learning English as an adult. I later moved to the US and I earned a bachelor's degree in linguistics at Rutgers University. I've tutored Spanish and ESL for several years. My hobbies include playing acoustic guitar and singing, playing my electronic drum set (with headphones on), reading mostly about linguistics and social psychology, watching standup comedy, discussing logical fallacies and cognitive biases with whoever doesn't fall asleep from it, and occasionally doing magic tricks that impress fewer people than I would like.
