About this Course
In this 1.5-hour long project based course, you will learn how to use NetBeans 20 to develop a cross-platform application that can be deployed to any operating systems that support Java such as Windows, MacOS, and Linux. NetBeans is a popular integrated development environment (IDE) in the IT industry. It can be used for Java, PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and C++ development. Please note that the main focus of this course is NetBeans and not how to program in Java. However the skills you acquired will be applicable to other programming languages as well. This course is aimed at learners who have basic knowledge of Java and want to learn how to use an IDE to develop applications. Required pre-requisites are: core Java, Java package structures, Java data types, string and number manipulations, Java functions.
