About this Course

This practical course is designed for executives, team leaders, and administrative professionals seeking to enhance their communication skills by leveraging generative AI in various professional contexts. This course will guide participants through the fundamentals of AI-infused professional communication, including drafting emails, creating meeting agendas, summarizing documents, and producing compelling social media content. The professor will utilize a tested Rhetorical Prompt Engineering Framework to ensure that participants learn to leverage the most useful, relevant, accurate, and ethical outputs when collaborating with generative AI Assistants. This course provides point-of-need demos and simulations of prompting for professional communication outputs. It provides participants with the skills to explain how the steps of the Rhetorical \"Rhet\" Shot Engineering framework influence communication effectiveness, analyze communication scenarios to determine the appropriate audience, tone, and style using the framework, create compelling communication pieces tailored to specific purposes, audiences, and genres using the Rhetorical \"Rhet\" Shot Engineering framework, and evaluate communication outputs generated by AI Assistants using the framework\'s criteria, recommending improvements for tone, style, and content.
