As a lifeguard, you must possess the following skills:
Comfort in and around open water with knowledge of safety considerations.
Ability to navigate deep waters and utilize watercraft like surfboards, paddleboards, and kayaks.
Completion of lifeguard prerequisite exam.
Experience working with or teaching children is a plus.
Red Cross Certification or WSI certification is preferred.
Must be 18 years or older.
