The NDAB established a college scholarship fund in 1990, offering annual awards to blind or vision-impaired students pursuing higher education. Three scholarships are available: one $2,000 and two $1,000 awards. In 2004, the Emma Skogen Scholarship was added, funded by Emma Skogen’s will. This $1,000 award supports a vision-impaired student attending a vocational or trade school.
