Personal Statement

I am a third year graduate student in the Department of Linguistics at Rutgers University. I am currently a teaching assistant (TA) for our Intro to Linguistics course, and I will be teaching my own class next semester. I've tutored both this year and last, mostly in linguistics. I love helping students through difficult concepts by finding ways that they can related to the material. I am very patient, which I also believe is important in a tutor.
