Personal Statement

I have a B.A. in Comparative Literature from U.C. Berkeley and a PhD from Yale University in Italian Language and Literature. I have been teaching college for the last seven years but am now trying to make a living writing, tutoring, and working as an editor. What I love most is teaching students who are motivated, and I have found that this describes the vast majority of students who seek a tutor.
