Personal Statement

I am available to tutor in test prep and many other subjects. I prefer to help with writing skills and history topics, such as essay writing and AP U.S. History. I am also available to tutor in introductory Spanish. Instead of simply repeating information, I believe in helping pupils learn strategies and concepts themselves, by asking questions and keeping an open dialogue. As for my education, I have a Bachelor of History from Yale and a Master of Art History. I served as a teaching assistant while I earned my master's degree, where I learned to effectively communicate with my students.
