Personal Statement

I graduated from the University of Colorado in Boulder with my bachelor's degree in finance, though my real passions are in language and writing. I spent my college years teaching students English in Brazil education programs. I can work with students to build their fluency in Portuguese, prepare them for the ACT in Reading, and review early writing skills. I can use a variety of teaching methods to teach to my student's individual learning style. I enjoy tutoring in creative writing, public speaking, and ESL/ELL for adults.
