Personal Statement

I graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a bachelor's degree in Art History. I then earned my Doctor of Philosophy in American Studies from the University of Minnesota in the Twin Cities. I have over 10 years of experience teaching English, writing, history, and reading to students in college and high school students. I can teach AP English writing, prepare students for the SAT Math section, and introduce them to a variety of study techniques that can support their independent learning.
