Personal Statement

I earned my undergraduate degree in computer science with a concentration in information management and mathematics. I currently work as an after-school instructor in a learning center with kindergarten through fifth grade students. In this role I have been able to keep current with the core standards curriculum being taught to young learners and have enjoyed maintaining a kid-friendly atmosphere for learning that supports their creativity and supports individual learning styles. I also have three years of experience tutoring mathematics, including algebra, calculus II, trigonometry, and discrete mathematics.
