Personal Statement

My name is Tiana, I have a master's degree in public health that I earned at the University of Michigan. As an undergraduate student at Stony Brook University, I gained teaching experience as a TA in a number of courses. These included women studies, calculus, writing, sociology, pre-calculus, art history, chemistry, biology, and biology lab. I then spent time as a graduate student instructing courses in psychology and women's studies. In recent years, I've been teaching math in New York City at the high school level.
