Personal Statement

I have a bachelor's degree in biology and history from Columbia College, and I also have my law degree from Columbia Law School. I prefer to tutor for Mandarin, writing, English, literature, and standardized test prep for the LSAT and SAT. I know that each student learns in a different way, so I know that it is essential to tailor my instruction to meet the needs of the individual student. I think it is equally important to promote and teach critical thinking skills so that students can see the big picture related to complex problems within a subject.
