I am currently a PhD candidate in Applied Mathematics at the University of Maryland. I earned my Master of Science in the same from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology-Zurich. I've had the opportunity to facilitate the Number Theory and Discrete Mathematics undergraduate courses as a teaching assistant where I gave weekly tutorials, and designed and evaluated homework assignments and quizzes. I also worked with a non-profit organization teaching computer science, math, and English language skills. I also enjoy tutoring for standardized tests. As a tutor I strive to help my students learn the processes behind the problems for navigating formulas rather than teaching through the memorization of facts.
