Personal Statement

My current and past experiences as a teaching assistant and tutor at Boston University and Vision Education and Media have helped me understand the different ways that people learn. I have recognized the benefits of individualized lesson plans. As a tutor, I love turning ignorance into knowledge through understanding and learning how people see the same problem in different ways. I studied pre-med with a minor in psychology and chemistry at Barry University and earned my bachelor's degree before moving on to earn my master's degree in anatomy and neurobiology from Boston University.
