Personal Statement

My Teaching Style: Compassionate, creative, and challenging: a mix of work and fun that my students walk away from feeling proud and accomplished. As a fellow artist and as an educator, I’m gender-affirming and experience-affirming: I make sure to build trust so that my students can create work that is true to them. There's little more enjoyable than seeing my students experience growth and look at their new works with pride and satisfaction. I hope you or your student will be one of them!
