I earned a B.S. in Zoology, Summa Cum Laude, from North Carolina State University, a Ph.D. in Zoology from Duke University. After Post Doctoral work at UC Riverside and University of Michigan, I taught Biology and Environmental Studies at Cornell College for 21 years and have recently retired. Over the years I have conducted field research on the ecology, evolution, and conservation of reptiles and amphibians and am (to the best of my knowledge!) the most highly cited author ever at Cornell College.
