Future Leaders of Tomorrow (FLT) is hiring active NYS-licensed special education and literacy teachers to work as SETSS providers for the 2024-2025 school year. The students are in elementary and middle schools; they attend nonpublic schools. Providers are needed for schools in Manhattan and Brooklyn. Fingerprint clearance will be required by the New York City Department of Education (NYCDOE) to do this job. Currently, providers are needed for IN-PERSON work ONLY in schools. However, some remote services may be available for students who are seen after school.

* Current NYCDOE employees CANNOT apply for this position due to a conflict of interest with the DOE. Current NYCDOE employees (substitute teachers, classroom teachers, etc.) must wait until they have stopped working with the DOE for a full year (12 months) before they can apply for this position

* New licensed special education/literacy graduates are encouraged to apply

* Retired special education/literacy teachers are encouraged to apply

* FLT offers competitive hourly rates of $43/hr to 60/hr that will be commensurate with experience

The providers will work with students one-on-one. Flexible schedules are available. All providers will be hired as W-2 employees. Part-time and full-time positions are available.
