Cons: Can't understand her. I only learned from the TA.
Unless you can understand a thick Russian accent, find another professor.
Cons: I learned nothing from her, only from the TA. I would've failed without the TA. She should curve more. Her accent is too difficult to understand. I wouldn't recommend her at all.
Harsh grader. Her lectures are impossible to understand because of her accent and inability to explain things well. Her quizzes are too hard. She doesn't curve enough, only about 3-4%. I relied on the teaching assistant to pass the course, and did well, B+ at the end, but with so much hard work. She doesn't grade the matlab assignments.
Cons: Hard to understand because of her teaching methods coupled with her accent
Cameron is probably the most nicest professors I've ever had. She literally gave us the answers to the hardest Matlab questions on our projects. Other than that, most people didn't go to lecture because her teaching style is all over the place. Quizzes weren't too hard, since they were basically homework questions and the exams weren't hard either. She doesn't curve much, so make sure to do well!
Cons: Can't understand her lectures, Russian with thick accent, very disorganized. Quizzes are too hard.
This evaluation is for Math 246 differential equations. The course load is very heavy with matlab. Thank God for the TA.
