One of the worst professors I have ever had the disservice of "learning" from. She basically regurgitates the chapter summaries during the lectures. The powerpoints are a complete and utter joke. You are on your own when it comes to learning the materal. The tests are manageable if you put in serious time to teach yourself. You are not going to learn anything in this course from this professor. It's a shame because this class has the opportunity to be a great foundational course for graduate students and she completely trashes it. | |
Class expectations are very clear; Dr. Herrmann is fair with outlining what will be on exams; she is very helpful and approachable; in class case studies are great; tests fair; one does have to study- this material is tough, as it should be |
