Personal Statement

I studied chemistry at Carnegie Mellon University and earned my bachelor's degree before continuing on to become a medical student at Icahn School of Medicine. While earning my undergraduate degree, I tutored my peers in the academic development center. I have tutored in all chemistry courses both one-on-one and groups. I have also taught reading and math for elementary students. I can help you with standardized test prep and the sciences. My favorites to tutor are biochemistry, physiology, and anatomy. Studying these myself as a medical student, I see how they are applied to the human body which makes them even more fun to teach.
