As a lifeguard, you must possess the following skills:
• Comfortable in open water with knowledge of safety considerations
• Proficient in deep water with basic watercraft skills (surfboard, paddleboard, kayak)
• Ability to meet lifeguard prerequisites (550-meter swim, 2-minute treading water, etc.)
• Preferred experience working with children or teaching
• Red Cross or WSI certification is a plus
• Must be 18 years old or older
