As a Swim Instructor at Reading YMCA, you will lead swimming programs and deliver tailored individual and group lessons for children of different ages and skill levels. This opportunity is perfect for students who have a strong love for swimming, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to motivate young swimmers while fostering a love and respect for the water. We are currently seeking an energetic and self-driven Swim Instructor to join our team at Reading YMCA in Reading, PA.

Responsibilities
• Provide swim instruction to students of all ages and abilities
• Ensure a safe and positive learning environment
• Monitor and evaluate student progress, giving feedback and support as necessary

Requirements
• Experience with students of varying ages and abilities, preferably in an educational setting
• Strong swimming skills and knowledge of different strokes and techniques
• Proficient in water safety and survival skills
• CPR & First Aid Certified (infant, child & adult)
• Excellent communication, organization, time management, and creative teaching abilities
• Effective behavior management, remaining calm and professional in challenging situations
• Background in childcare or sports coaching is a plus
• Passion for swimming and working with children
