Personal Statement

For the past seventeen years, I’ve lived the discipline. I spent ten years reading and writing from three in the morning until eight at night, painting houses and working retail, saving enough to enroll in Kutztown University’s graduate school. There, I served as the graduate research assistant and writing tutor at the university’s writing center, which enabled me to pursue concurrent Master’s degrees in English and Secondary Education.
