Personal Statement

I'm a performer, music educator, composer/arranger, and luthier currently based in Tallahassee, Florida. I began my formal music education studying the classical guitar at the University of Idaho, where I graduated with a Master's Degree in Classical Guitar Performance. I value variety and diversity in music: I study and regularly perform Jazz, Folk, and Latin American Music, as well as build my own instruments. I completed a second Master's degree in Musicology from Florida State University where I led the FSU Andean Ensemble.
