Personal Statement

Hello students and parents! My name is Alec Chasin and I’m 23 years old. I recently graduated from Ithaca College with a degree in Music Education and concentrated on clarinet for 4 and a half years there! I play guitar and plenty of other instruments but clarinet was my academic area of focus. I am an elementary substitute teacher during the day and aspire to be a public school music teacher someday. I have lots of professional and collegiate level playing experience and would love to share my experiences with you all and pass down what I have learned during my years of study!
