Fisica I con laboratorio

About this Course

Physics is an exciting science and its laboratory is the Universe itself. This is a discipline that enables you to understand one of the main drivers of human thinking, to study natural phenomena and to translate the results into mathematical formulae. Physics, in fact, is the ideal environment for understanding the origin and development of several mathematical ideas. The aims of this course go beyond fulfilling the requirements of an under-graduate or teaching certificate program. The range of the covered topics is rather classic. The mechanics, which concerns the motion both on kinematics and dynamics, starts with point like body and then continues with systems. A brief look at the mechanics of fluids leads on to the study of thermal phenomena and the applications of thermodynamics. One of the peculiar and salient aspects of this course are the laboratory sessions, which run alongside the theoretical lectures. The laboratory activity highlights the link between phenomena and their theoretical interpretation, and brings the study of Physics back to its natural environment which is the one of experimentation.
