In this 1.5-hour long project-based course, you will learn the basics of creating a progressive web application (PWA) from an existing website using JavaScript. We will start by creating a barebone PWA and then add offline functionalities and also response time optimization. Progressive web apps are ideal solutions to deploy existing web-based applications to different platforms rapidly with minimal coding. It also provides additional functionalities such as being able to function with little to no internet connectivity. This course is aimed at learners with these existing skills: HTML - intermediate level including tags, attributes, forms, resource linking. JavaScript - intermediate level including DOM, async functions, function expressions, promises.
