About this Course
Durante 1970 y 1980 en América Latina, empezaron a conformarse comisiones para esclarecer y afrontar las atrocidades cometidas por las dictaduras militares. Desde esa fecha, este tipo de comisiones se han extendido a lo largo y ancho del mundo. En los últimos 5 años, han sido creadas más de cuarenta comisiones de la verdad en los más diversos escenarios políticos, todas ellas con el mismo fin de proveer una explicación sobre los abusos ocurridos en el pasado y atender las necesidades singulares de las víctimas. Desde una mirada comparada y crítica, este curso tiene como propósito ofrecer los fundamentos y herramientas para la comprensión de las comisiones de la verdad y su incidencia en los diversos escenarios políticos.Created by: Universidad del Rosario
