As a Swim Instructor at Mercury Swimming, you will lead swimming programs and provide personalized lessons to children of different ages and skill levels. This position is perfect for students with a strong love for swimming, great communication skills, and the ability to inspire young swimmers to appreciate and respect the water. We are currently seeking a dedicated and motivated Swim Instructor to join our team at Mercury Swimming in Livonia, NY.

Responsibilities
• Provide swim instruction to students of all ages and skill levels
• Ensure a safe and positive learning environment for all students
• Monitor and assess student progress, giving feedback and guidance as needed

Requirements
• Experience working with students of all ages and abilities, particularly in an educational or instructional setting
• Strong swimming skills and knowledge of various swim strokes and techniques
• Strong background in water safety and survival skills
• CPR & First Aid Certified (infant, child & adult)
• Excellent communication, organizational, time management, and creative teaching skills
• Strong behavior management skills, able to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally
• Experience in childcare or sports coaching is advantageous
• A passion for swimming and children is a must
