Schedule: Monday - Friday; Days, 8:00AM - 4:00PM
Sign-On Bonus: Up to $10,000
SUMMARY:
As a Senior Primary Therapist, your excellent communication and evaluation abilities greatly assist care providers in the assessment and treatment planning for patients with mental illness or those struggling with substance abuse.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides initial and ongoing assessment, counseling and clinical intervention to a designated caseload.
- Provides individual, group, and family psychotherapy.
- Participates functionally as a member of an interdisciplinary team in coordination and delivery of patient care.
- Communicates with relevant internal and external care providers to complete ongoing assessment and to coordinate care.
- Participates in and incorporates professional supervision and ongoing education toward quality care.
- Completes all required documentation in a timely and comprehensive manner.
- Maintains a full caseload, meeting productivity requirements and seeks to keep the incidence of failed appointments to a minimum.
- Utilizes efficient computer skills for electronic documentation.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Two (2) to five (5) years of mental health experience required
- Compassionate, kind and patient focused
- Strong attention to detail and excellent computer skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Licensed Mental Health Counselor(LMHC) Licensure preferred
EDUCATION:

LCSW - Licensed Clinical Social Worker - New York State Education Department (NYSED)PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
