Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab Technician Job Specialty: Cardiac Catheterization (Registered/Certified) Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day shift, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, with varied days (Monday to Friday) and on-call responsibilities during nights and weekends Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week Experience: Minimum of two years of experience in Cath Lab and/or Electrophysiology, including experience in a Level 1 trauma setting and STEMI call responsibilities License: RCIS or ARRT Certifications: BLS & ACLS Must-Have: - Ability to adapt to multiple and changing priorities- Ability to maintain confidentiality- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written- Effective interpersonal skills- Degree in a related field (BA, BS, BSN, AA) or equivalent experience Job Description: - Work in a multidisciplinary lab supporting patients undergoing invasive diagnostic cardiac and vascular testing or interventional procedures.- Perform scrubbing and monitoring duties utilizing all aspects of catheterization equipment.- Operate radiology imaging equipment according to the prescribed procedure.- Demonstrate proficiency in maintaining and operating imaging and radiology equipment.- Manage priorities effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment.- Uphold patient confidentiality and professional standards at all times.
