Personal Statement

I have been teaching students to read for over 25 years. I began my teaching career as a 1st and 2nd grade teacher. I have also held positions as a school Reading Specialist and ESOL teacher. I currently work with 4th and 6th grade students at a local elementary school. I completed my Master's Degree in Reading from the University of Virginia in 2006.
