Cons: A lot of small, frequent assignments, but they will boost your grade up.
Cons: Very picky about oral exam/presentation
Overall, I enjoyed her. She is very funny and often gets off topic. Plus, I had her at 8 am, so she made my day most everyday.

This was my first french class at UGA and Mrs. Howe makes you want to learn french. She makes it interesting to learn. My favorite teacher so far.
Cons: She hates cheating and is a stickler for Academic Honesty. I think that is a good thing, but if for some reason that annoys you maybe don't take this class.
Take her.
Cons: This is a very small con, but sometimes I feel like I'm being graded too harshly. Again, very minor!
Cons: have to participate a lot and grammar isn't gone over enough
Cons: the entire class is in French, she won't speak English unless absolutely necessary. You have to actively participate to get credit.
Good projects

Cons: Voice will put you to sleep
Hes nice and his projects are small his voice is just soothing and will put you to sleep
Much of this class focuses on speaking French. But I don't think I've come away from it with anymore fluency than I did going in.
Cons: She does give homework about once a week and it's easy, but she takes it up for a grade.
Super nice and funny lady, I loved having her for French! As long as you pay attention in class and do the easy homework assignments, you'll do fine. Not a very hard class and she works hard to help you understand it. Definitely recommend.

Cons: Weekly online quizzes. Projects are easy but seem like busy work

- If you're willing to put in a little effort it's not hard to get an A or at least an A-

Great professor! As long as your participate in class and read before coming to class, you'll love her.

Professor Howe is an excellent French teacher who is obviously passionate about the language. She helps students a lot and returns to complicated concepts multiple times throughout the semester so it doesn't bog you down during finals. I highly recommend her class
