Personal Statement

I have an undergraduate degree in International Relations from Clark University and I have a vast knowledge of history, literature, domestic politics, and international affairs. Some students learn best by listening to instruction, while others understand their lessons best by reading, writing, or performing tasks. When I initially meet with a new student I assess them for their best learning style and then I plan my lessons to take advantage of that style. I can use many different teaching approaches and styles to assist students in understanding the subject of study.
