Personal Statement

I have been working as a professional artist (making drawings/collages, paintings, and sculpture) for over 25 years. I received my BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design and my MFA from Yale. Alongside my studio practice, I've taught (since 1999) at a prestigious range of art schools and universities. I'm known as a very knowledgeable, yet warm and accessible teacher. I especially enjoy working directly with students to help them achieve their individual goals.
