Personal Statement

I believe being a great writer is an essential and teachable skill. I strive to help my pupils find their unique voice but also hone in on writing basics. I have worked as a writing and reading tutor for students from elementary through graduate school. As far as my education I have a bachelor's degree in creative writing from Sarah Lawrence. I was also a student visitor to English courses at Oxford. My two greatest passions are education and writing, and I feel blessed to be able to combine them.
