Personal Statement

I earned my both my undergraduate and graduate degrees in journalism from Northwestern University. During my undergraduate coursework I also majored in Spanish and spent a semester at a top-ranked university in Madrid taking upper-level literature and history courses alongside Spanish students. I currently cover real estate for a trade magazine in Midtown and work in financial media. I've tutored all ages up through high school. In my sessions, I strive to bring a sense of process and purpose by creating individualized lesson plans that supplement a student's coursework.
