Personal Statement

In my twenty years as a certified special educator in New York City middle and high schools, I have supported over 2000 students with highly complex learning needs during their educational journeys and transitions into adulthood. I hold two Master’s degrees - an MA in English Literature and an MS in Education focused on the lifespan education of students with disabilities - and find great joy in giving students the concrete tools they need in order to meet their academic goals.
