Personal Statement

During my childhood, learning piano wasn’t easy, as finding a good piano teacher always proved to be a struggle. However, years later, I had the privilege of studying under top pianists and achieving a BMus (Music) at A.R. Rahman's KM Music Conservatory and the University of Huddersfield, UK. Now as a piano teacher, it's my life’s mission to support other people in their musical journey and make sure that they receive a solid music education. I want to be the teacher I needed when I was a kid. This is why my teaching approach is full of fun, kindness, and passion. Rest assured, I give 200% effort to each one of my classes and make sure that my students learn as well as have fun. ..... Hi, I am Gauri, a professionally trained musician, who loves composing and teaching music. I enjoy different genres of music, anything from classical music to indie music. I also love meeting new people every day, people from different parts of the world: the UK, US, Asia—people whom I would never have met had I not been in this business! It's a lot of fun to talk to them about the thing I love the most (music) and watch them evolve into better musicians over time! I am a patient and friendly person. But most importantly, I am a passionate teacher. I have spent my whole life learning music and now it's my goal to guide other people in their musical journey. Without any exception, I give 200% effort to every one of my classes and make sure that my students are learning as well as having fun!
