Personal Statement

As I value authenticity in all aspects of life, I've been traveling to India since 2000 to learn and train in yoga and meditation as I believe in the experience of the true essence of things through personal experimentation. I have done TTC RYS500 training in Rishikesh, India. In combination with my yoga training, so far I have spent six years learning and training in Tibetan Buddhist meditation in monasteries of the Himalayan mountains of north India and Hindu Vedic Vedanta meditation in ashrams of south India. Additionally, I have had over 2 decades of training and teaching experience in dancing and Tai Chi. Over the years, I have conducted lessons internationally in countries like the UK, India, Thailand, Taiwan, Mexico, and the USA. My background enables me to effectively work with clients from diverse backgrounds and cater to a wide range of physical and non-physical conditions. My methodologies include: * Hatha Yoga * Vinyasa Yoga * Flow Yoga * Yin Yoga * Breath Work / Pranayama * Meditation * Tai Chi & Chi Gong * Dance Therapy * Movement Therapy Drawing from my teaching experiences, I found that employing a holistic approach, addressing the body, mind, and emotions as interconnected facets, results in significantly greater effectiveness. In the sessions, I guide students through sequences of traditional yoga asanas infused with elements of different modalities to target any problem areas with physical and mental blockage. Each session, with its distinct focus, is uniquely tailored to accommodate the student's level, needs, and current physical and mental states. For lasting results, I aim to work with students dissolving limiting feelings and beliefs in the body and mind, fostering a state of relaxed overall well-being and profound self-empowerment. I also share practical self-care tips for continued empowerment and growth beyond sessions. In a deeply embodied journey, beyond the notable enhancement of my overall well-being through personal practices, I encountered profound healing and self-discovery that I could not have attained otherwise. I'm wholeheartedly committed to sharing the transformative knowledge and wisdom that have profoundly benefited me with you, in a nurturing and compassionate environment.
