Personal Statement

I'm currently a PhD student in the English department at UC Berkeley. I am from Pennsylvania originally, but have lived all over the country (Philadelphia, Boston, NYC, San Francisco). I am very happy to be settling in the East Bay. I am excited to work with students from the middle school level and up. I have worked with students from Japan, Korea, Brazil, and Austria to all better their mastery of English, and have taught as a full time teacher at both the middle school and high school levels ...
