The Daniel A. Terry Scholarship program supports the children of fallen firefighters in achieving their higher education goals by providing financial assistance. Each scholarship starts with an award of $3,000, renewable for up to four years, offering a total of up to $12,000. Eligible applicants must be the natural or legally adopted child of a California firefighter who died in the line of duty and whose name is on or approved for the California Firefighters Memorial Wall. Applicants must be under 27 years old at the application deadline and hold a high school diploma or equivalent, or be in their final year of high school.
