She.is.the.shit. Her class was incredibly interesting and so is she. McDermott is hilarious and a great teacher at the same time. Take any and every class with her you can get.

The best most enthusiastic professors i've ever had. i took two classes with monika and got a 4.0 both classes. She is also the coolest person to have teach because she makes fun of everyone in the political world and makes boring material funny. If you are willing to raise your hand and talk class will be a good time

Professor McDermott's classes challnege the minds of her students. She attempts to open the minds of others with such profound questions as "if you were given a chocolate in the shape of a cockaroach, would you eat it?" She specializes and has a passion for the interests and life styles of the elderly. With no other group does Professor McDermott display such zeal. Like the post office professor McDermott runs efficiently through rain, snow, sleet or cold. If she was not married, I would definitely offer her my brother in marriage just for the opportunity to be related to such greatness. Professor McDermott is, quite frankly, the closest thing to Jesus I've ever encountered...
