The Dr. J. Clay Smith Jr. Diversity in the Legal Profession Scholarship promotes diversity in the legal field by encouraging racial and ethnic minority students to pursue legal education. The FBA Foundation awards at least one $15,000 scholarship to a first-year law student, distributed over three years at an ABA-accredited law school.
