Personal Statement

Hello! My name is Ziva and I love learning and teaching math! In college, I studied physics and mathematics. Along the way, I developed a love of pure mathematics, so I decided to go to graduate school. I earned a PhD in Mathematics (topology/geometry) in 2017 and taught math at Duke University and Bryn Mawr College for six years after my degree. My favorite part of being a professor was getting to work with students one-on-one and in small groups in my office because it's a lot like tutoring. ...
