very friendly and bubbly
class doesn't require much work
Cons: sometimes class is boring
Dr Fox is very easy going. Give out occasional quizzes that require reading the material but many questions are common sense. Graded the first easy a little hard but the group projects were very easy. It is very easy to get an A. Make sure to post in the discussions in a timely manner.
-Talks about interesting stuff
-Fair grader
-Small workload
The class was an online hybrid, so it is what you make out of it!
Good grader
Understanding students very well. :)
Loving and caring
Cons: it can be confused because you can't really ask questions to clarify the information
Understanding
Quick response via course email
Very positive - likes to give advice or discuss about topic, gives good commentary
Cons: Sometimes scatterbrained
Must attend all classes (because it's a hybrid course)
Expects support of arguments/information
The projects she gave were the required ones for the course. She likes concise sentences and thoughts, along with well supported points, so make sure you do proper research. My third project did not relate to the given topic but she took off a total of two points. At the end of term, she gave an extra credit online post which was just an opinion on which discussion thread you enjoyed the most. Online post wise, make sure to actually hit the word requirement and answer all aspects of what the post is asking. If she knows you put in work, her grading will reflect that.
Cons: Have to work hard for the course (and the following 102 and 103)
Great professor, one of the kindest at Drexel. She is understanding and knows what a student needs in improving their writing skills. Nevertheless her grading system sometimes leave much to be desired. We are unable to absolutely assess our grades, and therefore how much effort we can put into the course, until after the quarter. However she does value hard work more than skill, and she will reward you much more for pulling an effort, rather than you actual skill by the end of the quarter.
Her classes are brilliant and lively, and she really gets students involved
Makes class fun
Sure would retake
Helped a lot in improving my english
