Cons: lecture is boring and don't very helps
You can work with friends
Very nice professor
Cons: boring lectures
He works with you if you need extra help or if you have issues with the grades
All quizzes and exams are open book, so this class is very easy.
-Seriously, I cannot stress enough JUST READ the textbook. 100% of the class is book based!!!!!!
-Weekly online quizzes, based on the one chapter you're assigned to read for the week. 10 questions. Easy.
-Online midterm and final. 50 questions based on your reading. EASY
-The library has a copy of the book on reserve so don't buy it if you don't mind going to the library to use the book.
-He takes attendance
-Professor has lots of life experience. Even if you're not interested in selling, you could apply the lessons from his stories to many aspects of life.
Cons: -Professor is very nice/intellectual so I don't mean to sound rude but he is monotone and talks all lecture and does not ask many questions for students to paticipate. You would probably fall asleep or use your laptop all class and miss his cool stories
He has interesting stories and had an interesting life.
Cons: However, he did not interact with the students at all, created no relationship with us and spent the last 30 minutes of class showing boring terribly scripted business videos. Some of the multiple choice questions were vague, loaded or had multiple correct answers, yet even when I showed him the page in the textbook showing that multiple answers were in fact correct, he refused to give me credit.
Now he teaches like a flat textbook - one way communication, and if you have a question that he didn't answer, you're better off googling it.
tl;dr Easy class, would not take again.
He gives weekly online questions, 10 questions straight from the textbook. very easy. He has one mid term and one final which are also straight from the text book. Also its open book and online. So yeah, if you get a B in this class, go kill yourself.
Its an easy A+ but if you really listen and really read the text, you will learn a lot from this course.
He's older, but he definitely has experience and it's hard not to respect him. Attendance is taken every class. This class is recommended since there are no tests and it's difficult to not get an A.
If you pay attention Stan gives many antidotes from his decades of sales experience. There is a lot to learn from this man if you care to.
Would retake.
But his class is an easy A. Take home online quizzes, midterms, and finals straight from the book. Need i say more?
Another thing, if you do happen to listen in class, the guy does have some valuable experiences he shares with the class.
